Dr. Audrey Longston is Garden Heights’ medical director. With over 12 years of experience practicing psychiatry with an emphasis on trauma, mood, psychotic, and personality disorders, Dr. Longston is well-versed in treating the most common co-occurring psychological conditions among those with substance abuse disorders. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Exercise Physiology/Kinesiology before continuing her education at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine where she earned her Doctorate in Osteopathy in 2007. Dr. Longston has gone on to complete residencies at The Mount Sinai Medical Center and Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, NY, as well as Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, OR. 


Dr. Longston is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry and licensed to practice in the states of New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Oregon, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Oklahoma. She also holds a license of Buprenorphrine and Office-Based Treatment of Opioid Dependence. Dr. Longston’s professional affiliations include the American Psychiatric Association, American College of Osteopathic Neurologists and Psychiatrist, and the American Medical Association among others.


As medical director at Garden Heights, Dr. Longston is responsible for overseeing treatment of all clients and is hands on in developing each person’s individualized treatment plan.
